Main stream media outlets present their views as news and their opinions as facts. You watch a documentary on TV, and it seems like you’re watching an infomercial. The “News” shows are nothing but a showcase of self-serving chats where every event is spun to sell a certain opinion. Bias by producers and presenters alike is obvious and shameless. Printed media is the same.
The recent influx of high-profile individuals and organizations (with seemingly unlimited supply of money), diving into the manipulation orgy, is scary. It makes it very difficult, and risky, to disagree with them. It doesn’t matter if one mentions indisputable facts, the backlash from biased parties can be extremely harmful.
We at Fact Gazette are not happy with the ongoing deconstruction of facts and hiding of the truth. That is why we started this website. Our mission is to guard the facts against the relentless manipulation by special interest groups and by ideological freaks.
Environmental issues are a subject where science and facts must be the only determining factors. Yet, the subject has become a free for all field, where rhetoric and ideological prejudice override all science and even common sense. While we believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion; no one is entitled to their own facts. And that now, more than ever, someone must step forward and say “the emperor has no clothes”. This site is our way of saying it, clearly, honestly and with no-holds-barred approach.

This website has no associations with any political, ideological, economical, religious or commercial entities whatsoever. It is open to everyone and has no commercial or revenue-generation functionality. We will never ask you to donate money or to subscribe to anything. And we do not use cookies to track or monitor your access to this site or any other site. We only seek and stand for the truth.
